We have transformed our 6-bedroom cottage home into a boutique culinary yoga retreat centre offering week-long wellness, yoga, mediterranean cooking, and meditation retreats for nature loving guests looking to unplug. Our vision is to create a peaceful, relaxing and culturally rich sanctuary in our beautiful family cottage.
Our yoga and wellness retreat centre sits between fresh pine forest air and an acre of flourishing farmland perfect for a peaceful escape from busy city life.
What is a culinary yoga retreat?
Culinary yoga retreats are becoming more popular as people begin to recognise the importance of mind-body connection as a pathway to healthy living. This culinary yoga retreat combines traditional mediterranean cooking with daily yoga practice to nourish guests from the inside out. You can cook and yoga as much as you like, it’s completely up to you. This retreat will offer you many options to choose from in addition to fresh local meals and yoga including hiking, visits to local attractions, shopping and more.
What kind of food can I expect?
This will depend on the season as all food will be locally sourced and mostly grown on the farmland directly in front of the retreat centre. The farmland provides an abundance of crops including figs, pomegranates, melons, lemons, peaches, walnuts, aubergines, tomatoes, spinach, peppers, there are too many to name. In addition to this there is a chicken coop nearby for eggs and a dairy farm for local cheese. On the retreat you will learn to make your own yogurt too.
What will I learn how to make?
Each day there will be an opportunity to come together to learn how to make a traditional Turkish meal, this may include:

– Kavurma
– Kofte
– Kuru fasulye
– Icli kofte
– Salads including coban salatasi
– Yogurt (from scratch)
